I left a review on their google page, they removed it. I then realized there’s no where someone can look up Clozetivity of North Alabama (Huntsville) & find a review now. That didn’t sit right with my spirit, this is about helping and warning unsuspecting people. What they can’t remove is my own blog post.
All of this is my opinion of my experience, and for legal reasons is alleged.

On April 1, after a few canceled consultations, Clozetivity finally showed up to give us a quote. Kelly, the owner, seemed really nice. She claimed she was a retired rocket scientist, my husband is a rocket scientist, it felt kismet.
The next day they sent over a quote. It was for the wrong house. Hey, that happens. Asked for the correct one. We signed that quote and paid half deposit. The quote nowhere lists a contract, nowhere lays out terms and policies. That felt odd. I called and asked Kelly for a contract and her insurance info the next day and promises were made. I never was given either, despite repeated asking.
After a week of accepting payment, but not hearing from them (or receiving a contract), I reached out. What was install date? What were the terms? They assured me all would be fine.
After a month of this back and forth game, I decided we just needed to cancel. This was far too sketch. With no install date in sight, our family plans had also changed. Would we live in this house in another 6 months? Who KNOWS when this would be installed, and with no proof of insurance or contract? ….We were done.
Kelly, again this is the owner, got extremely irate with me. Telling me there were NO refunds and we wouldn’t get the half we paid upfront already. I asked to see the contract, because some contracts cancellations are fine in the first 40 days, or before production, it really just depends. She said she would “find it”, and call me back. She called me back, still with no contract, but then decided “corporate“ said NONE of it was refundable I would owe her another $2,808.24. That’s lovely “corporate“ decided that, where’s the contract?

After waiting and waiting and no contract ever being produced (because it doesn’t exist), I called my credit card company. They put a block on her company and did a charge back. I then filed a report with the Alabama Attorney General for fraudulent business practices (don’t bother with the BBB, it’s Yelp for boomers & companies can buy their rating. Not that Clozetivity is even on there). I then called my local PD to file a police report on what happened. When there’s no contract, and a business refuses to refund, that’s theft. What Kelly Caudle did is 100% illegal, and we had every right to get that in writing to protect ourselves.
To be clear, we never got a product, we never got an installment date, we never got a contract, we never received proof of her insurance, we never received a call back from Clozetivity corporate OR their ”legal” Kelly repeatedly threatened me with, but we sure had our money taken and given repeated threats .
I would NEVER recommend Clozetivity of North Alabama OR Kelly Caudle of Lexington, Alabama (AL) based on our horrific experience. Shockingly unprofessional, upsetting, and now with my Credit Card, local police and the state attorney general involved - save yourself the headache and threats.

update: not many hours after posting this, Kelly Caudle of Clozetivity North Alabama (also owner of Rocketzoid), sent this email. Leaving her “lawyers” info. The lawyer has not reached out, Kelly has no grounds to contact a lawyer as she failed to give or produce a signed by us (with our legal name and addres) contract. What she doing (in my opinion, allegedly) is attempting to intimidate a customer who’s holding her up to the correct and legal standard. Somehow the bar COULD BE LOWERED BY CLOZETIVITY OF NORTH ALABAMA

Update Dec 2022:
After several months of back and forth with her lawyer, my husband and I repeatedly offered to pay Kelly the "restocking" fee she claimed she owed. We asked for receipts from the manufacturer to prove she has owed this. Neither Kelly, nor her lawyer, produced these, but continued to try and (in our opinion) harass & intimidate us. Kelly's lawyer, on Kelly's behalf, tried to intimidate (in our opinion) me to remove my reviews. No.
I eventually argued, correctly and legally, that Kelly was no prospected under Alabama law as she is not a cabinet maker. That is the manufacturer. Kelly is a closet ASSEMBLER & therefore is not protected under Alabama law.
Direct quote I sent her lawyer
"Custom work is protected under Alabama section 7-2-710, she returned it to the manufacturer, proving she is not a custom maker, this doesn’t apply to her. Contracts would be a wise move in the future. "
If you find yourself in a similar situation with Clozetiviry of north Alabama, or Ms. Caudle, please reach out. I'll be happy to show you the emails and how I successfully used the law to prove she has no grounds.
This is absolutely insane! Sorry you are having to deal with this.
